A 7-year-old girl who was shot by a drive-by shooter inside her Detroit home Wednesday night has died.
The shooting happened Wednesday night in the 3900 block of Bedford, which is just west of Outer Drive and north of Mack in Detroit’s Morningside neighborhood. The girl, who has not yet been identified, was shot in the head.
An unknown suspect reportedly drove by and fired numerous shots into the home, striking the girl in the back of the head.
The girl, named Reginae, was transported to the hospital and listed in critical condition on Wednesday night, and then downgraded to grave condition by Thursday afternoon. Officials say the 7-year-old later died at the hospital.

There was an unknown suspect who shot her house up and she was struck and was rushed to the hospital where she later departed this earth. Reginae was loved by many. She was a straight A student and had the kindest spirit. The family is asking for your help to lay this beautiful Princess to rest. Reginae leave her parents and several siblings confused and hurt.
