A GoFundMe Page was created by the church for the deceased. It reads;

Andy’s Army

To know Andy Williams is to love him. It’s that simple. And it is out of this abundant love that we are humbly asking for your help to meet his medical needs and the needs of his family!

Andy was on his way to church on June 27th when his motorcycle was hit. Andy was resuscitated at the scene and rushed to Vandy ER. He sustained extensive injuries to his brain and body, and is currently on a ventilator. An emergency leg surgery on June 28th resulted in amputation above the knee. We are praying for complete and total healing for this amazing husband, father and music teacher!! He has poured his life into lifting up every person he meets. Let’s all gather around to pray and support his family through this unbelievable trial.

There are so many unknowns about the future, but we serve a God who knows what Andy will face. We want to give Andy, Kelly, Aden, and Asher the financial resources they will need in the weeks and months ahead. We have set a a goal of $250,000, but we want to bless this family above and beyond so they can focus on Andy’s healing!

If you are unable to give, we covet your unending prayers for Andy Williams! Thank you for loving the Williams family so beautifully at
this time. May God richly bless you!

Family and friends of Andy,

Early this morning, around 1:00am, Andy Williams went to be with Jesus. He fought a great fight, but the injuries that he suffered took a toll on his physical body. You prayed along with us that Andy would be healed. You prayed along with us that Andy would wake up. You prayed along with us that God would perform a miracle. While we mourn that Andy isn’t here with us, and that we didn’t get to witness the miracle we longed for here on earth, all of our prayers were answered. He is healed, he is awake and we believe that he is more alive today than he has ever been. We hold fast to Paul’s words that we look not to the things that are seen, but to those things that are unseen, for they are eternal. We celebrate that Andy is in the arms of his Savior and we are grateful for the memories and laughter that Andy brought to all who knew him. We can’t thank you enough for your prayers, support, and unending love. You have walked with us through this very difficult journey and we felt you there the entire way.

We love you so much and we thank you for the support. At this time the family has requested that you respect their time together and allow them to receive some much needed rest. Please hold off on reaching out with texts and phone calls for a few days.

With much love,
Kelly, Aden, Asher, Mary Catherine

Family, friends, and prayer warriors of Andy,

Thank you for your prayers, support and love. The family is overwhelmed with the support they have received and are continuing to receive. Your love for Jesus and for Andy is apparent. A million thanks.

We’ve refrained from updates for the last few days because there hasn’t been much change in Andy’s condition. He remains on a ventilator and continues to fight. Another medical team meeting took place this evening and they continue to give their opinions and suggestions to the family based on the information that they have as medical professionals. We are so thankful for their kindness, patience and hard work. With that said, everyday the family meets at our little campground in the hospital courtyard, and seeks the Lord through scripture, prayer, and conversations with others. At this point, The Lord has made it clear that we are to continue to pray for healing and for Him to move with, and beyond what the medical professionals can do.

The family is also requesting that as you pray for Andy to please remember the other families and patients on Andy’s floor. So many are hurting and going through the same struggles and battles as them.

We love you! We thank you!

In Jesus name!

Latest update from Grace Chapel Fairview:

Family and friends,

Your prayers are being felt and we are so thankful. Don’t stop! God is moving in so many ways. He’s bringing comfort, opportunity, and relationships in this trial. Andy had a surgical procedure this morning to find the culprit of his continued fevers. The procedure was a success and doctors removed bacteria from his lungs. Pray that this will keep his temperature down and the fevers at bay as God continues to heal his body. Continue to pray for complete healing and for the amazing doctors who are working diligently. We are so thankful for those who have donated to the Gofundme. The family can feel the love of Jesus from your generosity and continued prayers. Love to all!
