With the permission of his wife, I’m posting this video for you
@bradvenable
. Once I can gather my thoughts tomorrow, I’ll record them when I’m not a goddamn mess. You’ll tell me to let it all out, but man, if I do, I’d be crying forever.

My brother. I love you so much.

If you didn’t know @bradvenable, you were missing out. He was kind to every single person he knew. I don’t think he gave himself the credit he deserved, but he was always there to be supportive of his colleagues, no matter what stage they were at in their career.

I think I first got to know him while Fate/Apocrypha was in production. He complimented my scripts often. A few times, when we’d run into each other at a coffee shop, he was nice enough to offer to help me get an agent when I was too scared to. I ended up declining….

but I eventually started working with that same agent. I don’t think I ever told him. Which is dumb because I was lucky enough to direct him the other week. Should have told him then. I was supposed to direct him again in the next coming week. But now I won’t get that chance.

Sorry if the voice acting community scared anyone with this news. But this isn’t about any of you. It’s not about any of us. It’s about Brad and how great of a person he was. His passing blindsided all of us. And there are a LOT of us because his light reached DOZENS of people.

So excuse us as we mourn, albeit in such an unconventional way. We’ve all had a major pillar of support and a beacon of light stripped from us and it may take a bit for the community to recover.

Today, we lost a very special person in the gaming community… To some he was the griffin from DMC5. But to us, he was our friendly stay at home dad Barik, and Makoa, long reigning king of tanks

Brad Venable, may you rest in piece. Thank you for giving them an amazing voice….
