This has been a really tough year for our California basketball community. Coach Tony Thomas, who had Carl Lewis for a year at Compton HS, has lost 3 former or future players in the past 6 months (including a 14-Y/O). As you can imagine he is beyond frustrated/angry. Folded hands

I just learned that former Hillcrest Prep and Lynwood High School (CA) product Carl Lewis, an amazing talent, was found dead today. This is extremely sad news for such a gifted young man with so much potential. Keep him and his family in your prayers.
