Dominick Answini Obituary, Death – Survived by
Dominick Answini Obituary – Dominick Answini passed away on Jan. 7, 2022, in his home in West Wyoming, surrounded by his family. Dominick was born in the Keystone section of Plains Township on Sept. 11, 1934. He was the son of the late Amerigo (Mack) Answini and Josephine Borocci Answini.
A graduate of Plains Memorial High School, Class of 1952, he entered the U.S. Navy and served aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. The Coral Sea. Dominick graduated from the Philadelphia Institute of Barbering and was a barber for 52 years in the Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre before retiring in 2011.
Dominick was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and jogging.
In addition to his parents, Dominick was preceded in death by his sisters, Florence O’Ravitz and Lillian Answini.
Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Gemma Vigo Answini; son, Dominick Answini and his wife, Betty Ciacchi, of New York City; and daughter Carla Answini Snook, and her husband James, of Rutland, Vt. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Gemma Snook, Lucas Answini, Danielle Snook, and his sister, Betty Stella.
