James “Jimmy” Faircloth Death – Cause Of Death – The victim killed in a motorcycle crash in Twiggs County has been identified as Former Perry Mayor James “Jimmy” Faircloth. The Tragic collision occurred around 4:00 pm Tuesday afternoon along State Route 96 in Twiggs County.

According to Georgia State Patrol,  James Faircloth of Perry was headed east on State Route 96 when traffic came to an abrupt halt.  Faircloth put on brakes and lost control of his motorcycle which made him fall off the bike.

Faircloth was quickly airlifted to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon where he was later declared deceased after succumbing to his injuries.

Faircloth was a Perry Mayor for more than nine years before quitting in May of 2019.

James “Jimmy” Faircloth Obituary will be released by the family of the deceased. Condolence to all deeply affected by his passing.
