Ernie Michie Death – Cause Of Death – Former Scotland international rugby union player, Ernie Michie has sadly passed away at the age of 88 on Saturday night.

Michie was born in Aberdeen on November 7, 1933, and he graduated from Aberdeen Grammar School where he was an exceptional member of the First XV. Michie represented North of Scotland in the first year of the Scottish Inter-District Championship in season 1953–54. He also partook in the 1955 British & Irish Lions Tour to South Africa.

Scottish Rugby confirmed his passing through a Twitter post.

”Scottish Rugby is saddened to hear of the death of former Scotland lock Ernie Michie. He passed away on Saturday night aged 88.
