Lloyd Ernest Rogers Death – Lloyd Rogers has died on November 12, 2021. He was predeceased by his son Clayton and son-in-law Craig. Lloyd is survived by his wife Mary; his daughters Kim and Krista and the rest of his family.
Rogers died in his sleep after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, according to his obituary. A post on Twitter revealed that Lloyd Rogers was instrumental in the creation of BOMA Canada. This post also made it known that Lloyd was Chair of BOMA Saskatchewan and subsequently became Chair of BOMA Canada. BOMA Canada posted on Twitter; “BOMA Canada mourns the passing of Lloyd Rogers who, many years ago, convened Canada’s first-ever national BOMA meeting and who was instrumental in the creation of BOMA Canada. Lloyd was Chair of BOMA Saskatchewan and subsequently became Chair of BOMA Canada, too.”
Lloyd ran his own real estate brokerage in Regina for 50 years and volunteered tirelessly in the Community. He was president of the Regina Chamber of Commerce. Also National chair of the Energy Management Taskforce; a long-time member of the Regina Eastview Rotary Club; and a long-time member of the Regina Committee of Ducks Unlimited. A memorial will be held at a later date.
