Hey everyone, if you know my buddy @GarethSwan…

He has been battling COVID-19. We thought he had a clean bill of health this past weekend. Unfortunately, it is still in his system.

He is in critical condition, and under going surgery right now. Please say a pray for him.

Hi everyone, please keep those thoughts and prayers going.

Gareth has hit a rough spot. They could not find the source of the bleeding.

He is being airlifted to a specialist at an Orlando hospital. They have surgery prepared for his arrival.

Will update as soon as we can.

Hi all quick update! Kellie just called. Good news! The surgery is progressing well. The opinion of the surgeon was that he felt confident, and the procedure would be successful and completed in the next hour.

My many thanks to everyone for the prayers, thoughts, and well wishes for our friend!!

‘s surgery is completed, they performed an arterial embolism on an artery with old scar tissue.

Gareth is stable, intubated, and in the ICU. Now he has to heal and recover.

Good morning friends, the new from over night is good!

blood pressure is much better.

Still waiting on blood tests but looks like bleeding has stopped.

He is resting sedated and peaceful.

What a difference 17 hours can make!

My friends, great news from Kellie on

“Just spoke to the ICU they are happy with his progress, his blood pressure has stabilized & it looks like bleeding has stopped. They are slowly starting to wake him up & plan on removing the intubation tube in a few hours!!! “

Dear Friends, AMAZING news!

is awake, breathing on his own, and sitting up. His vitals are remaining stable.

He is a bit disorientated, but Kellie is hoping to be able to speak to him soon.

Nothing but gratitude to all the #MedicalHeroes who helped him!

Hi Friends,

Gareth stared bleeding overnight. They are managing his blood pressure and his breathing remains strong. He has to go through another endoscope.

They’re keeping him sedated and will have to intubate him.

His lungs remain strong and the hope is he will come off of intubation quickly.

They just have to figure out where this bleeding is occurring so they can stop it.

Hi Friends,
Gareth is in the process of being intubated again- he is currently in very critical condition. Earlier today the bleeding slowed, but it has started again.

However, they have found the root cause of the problem!!

I do not have details on that, but it is great news that they found it.

The medical team is currently working on a game-plan to fix it. Please note that this is going to be a risky and lengthy procedure.

Please keep sending those prayers & positive thoughts!!

I almost forgot.

This will be a slow procedure. So it maybe sometime before there is more news.

Hey Friends,

Sorry for the slow updates. The news has not been good.

After surgery last night Gareth suffered a large hemorrhage, and had to be brought in to emergency surgery that lasted for six hours.

After surgery he was moved to the trauma unit to recover.

A short time ago, Gareth had to be taken back for for emergency surgery a few minutes ago. His situation is critical & although I don’t have more details, the prognosis is not good.

All we can do now is to continue to pray. I will update everybody when I have more information.

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your support. I know Gareth would have been touched by the outpouring of love you all have shown.

Tragically, Gareth Swanepoel, our dear friend passed away this evening.
