George Malkemus Cause of death – what happened?

  • Date of death : September 16, 2021
  • Death Age : 67 -year-old
  • cause of death : cancer

George Malkemus, the steady, sunny Texan who helped transform the designs of an eccentric shoe designer named Manolo Blahnik into a global empire, died on September 16 at his house in Manhattan, after trying the same business alchemy with actress Sarah Jessica Parker for her own shoe brand. He was 67 years old when he died.

Anthony Yurgaitis, his husband and business partner, stated that the cause was cancer.

These delicate, spindly heeled confections were a luxury item known only to fashion insiders and members of the chattering classes long before Manolos were pop culture shorthand for obstructing tens of thousands of feet of feminine excess and sex and the city prop and leitmotif on Sex & the City, the HBO series starring Parker.

You could sprint in them because the stilettos were so well designed, as devotees stated. Princess Diana wore them, as well as Paloma Picasso, Anjelica Huston, designer Carolina Herrera, and nearly all of the Vogue magazine employees. Women ordered them by the dozens of women each season, and they built closets that were meant to house them.
