How Did Jack Behrens Die? – Cause of Death

Authorities identified 74-year-old Patricia Behrens and 73-year-old Jack Behrens who lost their lives following a car crash near Cedar Springs on Sunday.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle collision occurred Sunday night at the intersection of Algoma Avenue and 20 Mile Road in Solon Township at about 7:40 p.m. The investigation reports indicated that a Ford F350 was traveling westbound on 20 Mile Rd N.E. when it ran a stop sign and collided with a northbound Buick Envision.

The Buick’s passengers, Jack Behrens, 73, and Patricia Behrens, 74, of Sparta were killed as a result of the accident. The driver of the Ford F350 was taken to Spectrum Butterworth with non-fatal injuries. Patricia was pronounced deceased on early Monday morning. The Kent County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Jack died at around 8 a.m. Alcohol seemed to have played a role in the crash.
