“A loving son, father, brother, husband and friend to many, Jay was the most loyal, caring and loving person,” his family said in a statement.

“Testament to that is the amount of love and well wishes we’ve received from friends old and new since the news of his passing.

“As a family, we are utterly heartbroken that such a huge part of our family has been taken from us so instantly, and so young.

Mr Hayes, who lived in Halling , was a highly experienced rider who his family say had a passion for motorbikes since childhood.

He grew up in the West Malling area and was a former pupil at St Simon Stock Catholic School in Maidstone .

His family described how he was “idolised” by his two sons, aged six and three years old.

“They were his whole world and we are devastated that they will grow up without their dad, who had so much planned for their future together.

“We are comforted by the fact that Jay was in a happy place when he died, he had so much to look forward to, and people in his life that cared and loved him so much.”

The family are yet to make public the obituary and funeral arrangements.

We are unable to confirm if a GoFundMe was created by the family/friends of the deceased at the time of this publication.

This post will be updated with more information as they are made available and public.
