Kaylie often came over to my house. She took the name as Surena. She would pet my cat at any random hour of the day or night. I didn’t ever mind until she came at 1am. Then I called the cops since this is odd to see a child out at night. I called multiple times and they never responded. The Bakersfield police department took my name, address and telephone number and I never got any response. I even called after seeing a man in a van following her and still, BPD never responded. I know that if they would have responded, she would still be alive a safe at her home. The last call I made was 2weeks before she died.

Very sad to hear this. According to your comment, we learned that BPD inability to respond led to Kaylie’s death.
