Jeff Morgan Death – A prominent local builder in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jeff Morgan has died unexpectedly after a courageous battle with ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Jeff was the Founder and Head of Morgan Construction Co and also was the general contractor of a number of other building projects around Chattanooga. Family and friends are devastated by this sudden loss of Jeff Morgan which was not expected as they grief and mourn his passing.
Jeff Morgan was a graduate of University of Austin in Texas and was inducted into the University Teaching Center (UTC) Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame in 2018. Jeff Morgan was the son of the late Chattanooga lawyer, John Morgan and a dear brother of a local attorney, Jay Morgan. Jeff was the beloved husband of Melissa Morgan, a devoted father of three children John, Mary and Bri and a grandfather to Alice Boehm.
Jeff Morgan founded Morgan Construction Company in 1983 and he remained the president, CEO and sole shareholder to date till the time of his passing. Jeff Morgan followed a strategy of targeting a few specific markets while building a record for performance and on-time completion establishing a client base comprised of local, regional, national and international developers and brands. He dedicated most of his life developing quality buildings in Chattanooga.
