Manus Farren Obituary – Manus Farren February 4, 1937 – January 6, 2022, Fort Worth, Texas – Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Manus Gerard Farren of Fort Worth, TX, passed away on January 6, 2022, following a short illness. He was just shy of his 85th birthday.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor this summer in Butte. “Mannie” was born in Butte, MT on February 4, 1937, to Manus (Dugan) and Phillip Farren.

Manus Farren Background

In 1959, Mannie joined the Navy via the Naval Aviation Cadet program and earned his Naval Aviator wings of gold in 1961. In 1963, he married the love of his life, Judith “Judy” Dwyer, and together they had four children.
Mannie retired from the U.S. Navy as a Commander in 1986. He then joined DynCorp for the next 21 years, before retiring for good in 2007.

Mannie is survived by his wife Judy; daughters Lyn (Jeff) Bonamie of Fort Worth, TX and Pam (Bob) Venne of Fort Worth, TX; sons Michael (Jennifer) Farren of Rockville, MD and Kevin Farren of Fort Worth, TX; brothers Chris (Faye) Farren of Mission, KS, Dan (Patti) Farren of Butte, MT and Bob (Mary Lou) Farren of Butte, MT; sisters Gerry (Roland) Drewyer of Fort Worth, TX and Phyllis (Bill) Christiaens of Butte, MT; as well as nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
