Matty Hatton Death – 17-year-old boy Died Of Brain Tumor

Matty Hatton Death – Obituary News – A 17-year-old boy who spent six years of his short life fighting a tumor in his brain has died. He had first been diagnosed with cancer more than six years ago in December 2016.

He went through months of difficult treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy.

Then 18 months later he rang the bell on the cancer ward to celebrate the news the tumor was in remission.

Sadly, the family had to announce in May 2020 that not only was the tumor back but this time was untreatable.

At the time his mum, Alison, 48, said, There is not a lot doctors can do now, and Matty knows that too.
But he fought on for another 20 months.

In a Facebook post last night on the Matty’s Magical Memories page, his family said: “It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Matty gained his angel-wings last night.

He peacefully slipped away with us by his side.

Obviously this leaves a gaping hole in our hearts but we wish to celebrate having Matty in our lives for the short time that we did.

“We are now going to hibernate for some time to try to come to terms with our loss so please don’t be offended if we do not reply to any messages for the time being.”

The family went on to thank the Rainbows Hospice in Loughborough for everything they did to make Matty comfortable in the last days of his life.

Our sincere condolences go out to Matty Hatton’s family, friends, and fans.

Matty Hatton’s obituary and funeral service are pending. Our prayers and thought are with the family of the deceased.
