Hard to believe a VA I grew up loving as Cyclops is dead

As a 1998 baby, I grew up on XMen the Animated Series and by extension on Norm Spencer as my main Cyclops pre me getting into the other X-Men cartoons. May Norm Rest In Peace. My first cyclops forever!

RIP Norm Spencer. Your work is respected and adored by the X-Men and Marvel community. Whenever I read the comics featuring Cyclops, I always thought of your spot on voice. Green heart

Norm Spencer was the definitive Cyclops. X-Men: The Animated Series really started my love of superheroes way back when and he was a huge part of that. I still hear his voice when I see drawings of Cyclops in any style or imagine a Cyclops story. May he rest in peace.

Very sad to read of the passing of Cyclops voice actor Norm Spencer. His work on X-Men TAS was a large part of what made me such a fan of that character. His voice is still the one I hear when I read Cyclops in comics.

Thank you for helping bring that character to life. RIP.
