Gary Hunt Death – Gary Hunt Of Corry, Pennsylvania has died untimely at the age of 64, in an accidental shooting during a hunt on PA State Game Lands Property. Gary was identified victim who was shot and killed accidentally while hunting On Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Pennsylvania State Game Lands 197 property in Columbus Township, Warren County. The Pennsylvania Game Commission is investigating the fatal incident.
An information and education supervisor of the game commission’s northwest region office in Franklin, Jason Amory identified retired Officer Gary Hunt as the victim of the fatal shooting. Although the game’s commission is still doing investigation into the incident, but reports say, Gary was hunting bear with a 42-year-old partner. According to investigators Gary slipped when the other hunter crossed a creek in front of him and his 270 rifle discharged behind him. Gary was hit in the abdomen and seriously injured. He was found dead at the scene of the incident when authorities and rescuers arrived the scene.
Rikki Gillihan, in a Facebook post described Gary Hunt as an was an amazing man and who has left her with great memories. “I have a heavy heart today receiving the news on Gary Hunt. Gary was an amazing man and has left me with nothing but great memories. The Hunts treated me like family for years, it breaks my heart knowing what they must be feeling and going through. Please keep this sweet, amazing family in your thoughts and prayers for the days to come” Her full post reads. Gary Hunt obituary has not been announced yet, we wait for the family for official announcement.
