Pastor pastor of Mt. Mariah Baptist Church in Melvin, Alabama, Tim Pearson was shot and killed Saturday, January 9, 2021 morning in Melvin, Alabama. Sheriff Scott Lolley has confirmed an arrest in connection to the murder. 18-year-old Melissa Hill turned herself in, and is being charged with both murder and attempted murder.

    I was lost for words l meet Tim and Mel back in 1989 he was still in the military then when they lived here in Bessemer, Al we was neighbors in Green Isle apartments Very nice couple so sad his life was taken like this a man of God Mel praying for you and the children and grandson still can’t believe this my Deepest Sympathy.
