Petra Mayer baked for lots of people, for lots of reasons. A few years back, she showed up at my Super Bowl party — “Chicken Bowl,” which includes a fried chicken-eating contest — hoisting this masterpiece. You can tell it’s Petra’s handiwork from that perfectly sardonic eye.
