Rosalie Trombley Death – Rosalie Trombley of Windsor, ON, who was Canada’s prominent radio hitmaker has passed away peacefully at 82 leaving family and heartbroken. Rosalie’s family announced her dead on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Rosalie was well known for her wonderful ability to sense a mega-hit and put it on the airwaves. Rosalie’s son, Tim Trombley in a statement said “Mom possessed an innate sense for music and could hear a hit from a mile away,”. Rosalie has the ability to decipher a potential hit song from the get-go.

Tom also described his mother, Rosalie as someone who had the ability to connect with music across many genre. “But more than that, she had the ability to connect with music from a multitude of artists across many genres. Although we are heartbroken, we are comforted by the fact that her legacy and her influence will live on.” Tom continued. Because of her ability to select, organize, and present playlists from behind the scenes, she was nicknamed “girl with the golden ear,”.

Rosalie was a music programmer, a legendary and influential music director for many years at Windsor’s CKLW Radio for many years who because of her ability shaped an era of rock music. Her works resonated across beyond the Detroit border. Rosalie’s role was not too obvious to listeners and she was one of the rare gems in the radio industry during her time. Her believe in the Guess Who’s “These Eyes” helped shoot them to stardom. The radio industry will indeed miss and remember Rosalie for her good works. Rosalie Trombley obituary and funeral has not been announced yet.
