“Dear Saint Helena Community,
It is with a heavy heart I inform you that Reverend Richard Villano passed away this morning at 9:30 AM on Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 25, 2021. We are sad for his passing from this world, but we rejoice in the Resurrection and his going home to rest in the Father. Saint Paul reminds us: When this which is corruptible clothes itself with incorruptibility and this which is mortal clothes itself with immortality, then the word that is written shall come about: “Death is swallowed up in victory” (1 Cor. 15:54).
On this Thanksgiving Day, let us give thanks to God for the many blessings he bestowed upon us through Fr. Villano’s 43 years of priestly service to Saint Helena Catholic Church and School. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he Rest In Peace.
Funeral arrangements are still pending and will be sent along to you once they are confirmed.
Please keep Father Villano and his family in your prayers.
Yours in Christ,
Reverend Richard Villano passing will be published by his family.
