UPDATE: Shooting at Laddies
As our investigators continue to work diligently, it is the intent to continue to update the public, specifically our Berkeley County Citizens of continued progress regarding the Shooting that had occurred on Jan 2nd, 2021 at Laddies.
The two fatalities involved within this incident were identified as 52 yr. old Richard Light Sr. and 39 yr. old Robert Truhan who were pronounced deceased at the scene. The third individual injured within this incident continues to be in stable medical condition at a hospital and will remain unidentified for the

I want to emphasize to our citizens that through investigation, it has been confirmed that this not a random incident, but an isolated incident involving two different Motorcycle Clubs.
I want to ensure to our citizens that your safety is of the upmost importance and
a top priority to the BCSO. I scheduled a meeting at the BCSO with the WV State
Police, Martinsburg City PD, ATF, Eastern Panhandle Drug and Violent Crime Task
Force and the Berkeley County Prosecuting Attorney, Mrs. Cati Wilkes-Delgatti.
This meeting discussed various initiatives that are being implemented to aid in the safety of our citizens and swiftly bring this investigation to resolution.
I continue to ask our community to stand together, do NOT fall for the social media rumor mill and please notify the BCSO of
any additional information regarding this specific investigation
