Commander Chuck Parrish Death

Chuck Parrish Death – Reserve Commander Chuck Parrish has passed away unexpectedly in November 2021. Parrish’s death was announced by The Rosemount Police Department in a Facebook post on Sunday, November 14, 2021. Chuck was a Marine and Vietnam veteran who joined RPD (Rosemount Police Department) in April of 2010 and volunteered an astounding 7,280 hours over the following nine years.

Chuck was made known to have received numerous awards and commendations including the 2012 “Citizen’s Award of Excellence” given by the Dakota County Chiefs of Police Association and the “Star-of-the-North”, awarded by Congressman John Kline in 2013. He was described as extremely dedicated and passionate about his job and the community he served.

Maryjane Schneider commented on Facebook following the death of Commander Chuck explaining how they worked together and also being a volunteer at their high school events. Schneider said, “I’m so sorry to hear this. Chuck was an amazing person! Loved working with him at Leprechaun Days. He also volunteered at our high school events. Prayers to his family.” The cause of death and funeral arrangements have not been released to the public as they will be released by Chuck Parrish’s family.
