Scott Bever Cause of Death – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who died in a utility terrain vehicle crash in the town of Summit as 34-year-old Scott Allan Bever of Houlton, Wisconsin. The crash Nov. 16, around 4:36 p.m. in the afternoon. According to reports, Bever was traveling northbound on Dietz Road and driving the UTV when he hit a deer in the roadway.

The vehicle veered, and collide with the bridge embankment before coming to rest submerged in the Black River. Officials said, the passenger in the UTV freed himself from the vehicle, but was unable to help Bever he ran up the road to get help. Emergency workers freed Bever from the vehicle and initiated CPR.

Bever and the passenger were both taken to the hospital. Bever was flown while the passenger was transported via an ambulance. Bever succumbed to the injuries from the crash at the hospital.

Scott Bever Obituary will be released by the family.
