How Did Shannon Deville Die? – Cause of Death

Sunday morning, Shannon Deville lost her life and April Ward was injured following a three-vehicle wreck on Hempstead Road near West 43rd Street.

The preliminary reports showed that at 2:20 a.m. Sunday, a Chrysler sedan rear-ended a red Ford pickup that was stalled in the road. The truck’s driver informed investigators that the male driver and two women passengers in the sedan were alive when he left to get assistance. Moments later, the Chrysler was significantly damaged when it was struck by a maroon Dodge pickup from behind.

On arrival, first responders found Shannon Deville dead in the backseat of the Chrysler. April Ward, who was in the front passenger seat, was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition. Reports further said that the Chrysler’s driver left the scene before the second crash.
