Sheron “Tony” Cobble Obituary, Death – Preceded by

Sheron “Tony” Cobble Obituary – Sheron “Tony” Cobble, age 81 entered into eternal life on January 8, 2022. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and great friend. He was born in Pulaski, TN on March 26, 1940. Sheron attended College Hill Elementary School and Graduated from Carver-Smith High School. He also played the trumpet while in High School. He served in the Military and was honorably discharged. Then over the next 25 years, he worked for General Motors, starting on the assembly line working his way up to becoming a Foreman. Some of his hobbies included carpentry, collecting trains, and listening to Jazz and Blues. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymon and Sarah Cobble; siblings, Raymon Austin Cobble, and Claudia McLean.
Sheron is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Cobble; siblings, Helen Easley, Nadine Cobble Hill, Runa Cobble Cooke; children, Kevin Cobble, Djuna Blackmon, Kenneth Cobble, Trenell Cobble, and Shari Cobble; grandchildren, Darnell Blackmon, Djuna Blackmon, Anna Marie Young, Miranda Cassandra Evans- Bassett, Danielle Cobble, Kimarhi Blackmon, Tam Aviles huyah, Jermaine Jones Jr., and Kenneth High Jr.; along with many cherished nieces and nephews. In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid and to allow for a safe environment for the people to gather masks are required. Thank you for understanding as we navigate this difficult time.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home. Service at 11:00 am, Pastor Leroy Campbell, officiating. Interment following at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery – Elwood, IL.
