Shared tributes

Brian Smith – “I got home a few hours ago to the shocking news that a friend, a dear friend I met in 2009 when I started my company and signed my first management client, Mountain Heart, had passed away today.
Jason Moore was Mountain Heart’s bass player and I knew the first time we met I had a friend for life. Even after we both parted ways as business partners five years later we remained friends and didn’t just shake hands when we saw each other…we hugged and laughed!
Jason was a happy guy, always with a smile on his face and made everyone around him happy. His family was dear to him, his friends were important to him and his music sustained him. I don’t know the details yet, but I believe his band, Sideline, was out working this weekend. I know most of them and know they loved him as much we did and can’t imagine their shock & sadness.
I have a million happy memories of our years together. Sold out shows, playing with Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Tony Rice and touring coast to coast and even internationally. NASCAR races, so many Grand Ole Opry appearances, MLB games, hilarious bus rides where we almost choked from laughing so hard as a group! Jason will be missed…terribly missed.
My thoughts & prayers go out to his wife Mollie, his family and his brothers & bandmates in Sideline and Mountain Heart. Thank you for touching our lives and giving 1000% every single day!! We will see you again my friend. Until then, RIP.

Nu-Blu – “Words cannot begin to describe how we feel. Our hearts and prayers go out to Jason’s family and his band family in Sideline. RIP Jason Moore”

The Big Bluegrass Bonanza – “Our hearts are heavy, and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and many friends of Jason Moore. Jason passed away suddenly, and unexpectedly today. He was one of the best bass players out there and was currently playing with Sideline. RIP Jason”
