Susan Lotti Obituary, Death –  Susan Lucille Lotti, of Salem, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the Oasis Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Youngstown, Ohio. Mrs. Lotti was born in Monessen, Pennsylvania on November 21, 1944, the daughter of the late George and Dorothy Rajala.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Lotti spent her career as an elementary school teacher in St. Mary’s County, Maryland where she was much loved by her students. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington Park, Maryland. She will be remembered for her faith, thoughtfulness, devotion to loved ones, and affinity for travel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick John Lotti.

Susan is survived by four children, Jennifer Schuler, Sharon Owen, Matthew Lotti, and Daniel Lotti; their spouses; seven grandchildren; brothers, Tom and Martin Rajala and her partner, Jon Brant, with whom she spent her later years.

Her ashes will be interred next to her late husband at Charles Memorial Gardens in Leonardtown, Maryland.

The family will hold a private graveside memorial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to one of two causes near and dear to her heart. Donations can be made to the Genesis of Pittsburgh (Adoption Agency) or mail donations to 550 California Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15022 or to the National Foundation for Transplants (Organ Donation) or mail donations to 3249 West Sarazen’s Circle, Suite 100, Memphis, TN 38125.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Stark Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Salem, OH.
