Julie Le Galliard Death – Julie Le Galliard, former French champion of 2015 has died on Sunday due to COVID-19 complications at the age of 31. Julie Le Galliard was habitual of the France team rallies between 2013 and 2016. Graduated with a Bachelor of Social Development and Mediation through Sports, she interacted with young people and women.
Dombasle Boxing Club announced Gilliard passing on Monday, November 15, 2021, in a press conference. Dombasle Boxing Club said in the press release; “Our dear friend Julie Le Galliard passed away last night”, Began the press release of the club, posted this Monday, November 15. The 31-year-old had been hospitalized for several weeks after contracting the coronavirus. It is not known if the boxer suffered from other pathologies. According to the press release, Julie Le Galliard was a person invested in the club and very appreciated by his colleagues including his friend Anne-Sophie Mathis.
David Rigaud posted to Facebook on Tuesday, November 16, 2021; “Julie was a very close friend, Anne-Sophie Mathis, multiple World Superlight Champion, for the Republican East.” She has always followed me through my career, she has always been there. In 2015, when she became the champion of France, I was in her corner around the ring with René (NDLR: Cordier, manager of Dombasle club where both boxers were fired). We often had to yell at ourselves, because, like me, Julie had character… But she also had a fragile side and sometimes needed comfort.”
