William C. Herron Obituary, Death – Survived by
William C. Herron Obituary – William (Willy) C. Herron, 80, of Leyden passed away September 29, 2021, following a short illness at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Although well known for his grumpy abruptness most of his life, he was also known as kind and friendly in the later years he spent in the nursing home.
William C. Herron Short Bio
He was born into a multi-generation farming family, including dairy cattle, crops, hay, wild blueberries, and maple syrup production. In his younger years he showed cows and was a member of the FFA. He enjoyed square dancing where he met his wife Lois. He frequently attended farm and cattle auctions. Enjoyed socializing and catching up on local goings on!
His parents were the late Donald Herron and Ruth Herron (Lawrence). He was preceded by his wife Lois, and is survived by his siblings, Lawrence, Bev Gale, Linda Thompson, John, Sid, and wife Debbie (Bernard) and Rita Klaus and husband Ed, along with many nieces and nephews.
