Yoko Scott and Truly Harris Death – Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire early Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in Reynoldsburg that left a woman and 7-year-old child dead. The officials have identified the 31-year-old mother as Yoko Scott and her 7-year-old son as Truly Harris.

On the arrival of the authorities just after 3:45 a.m. along Anne Court, south of East Broad Street, the mother, and son were pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. According to Truro Township Fire Chief Jeff Sharps, the victims were found in a closet.

The neighbor said he had the two children jump out of their bedroom windows so he could catch them. A 10-year-old and 13-year-old were able to escape safely with the help of the next-door neighbor.

Officials confirmed that the fire was determined not suspicious as it started in the kitchen. The other half of the occupied duplex was not affected by the fire.
