How Did Yuniel Maximo Escalona Die? – Cause of Death

On early Monday, 32-year-old Yuniel Maximo Escalona, a Houston man, lost his life following a two-vehicle accident.

As per the initial information, the fatal wreck took place at about 5:20 a.m. on Interstate 10, eight miles west of Sonora in Sutton County. The early reports indicated that one of the 18-wheelers was hauling a semitrailer, heading east on IH-10 when it crashed into a guardrail. The vehicle then entered the westbound lanes of IH-10 and hit another semi pulling a trailer going westbound on IH-10.

The driver of the first vehicle, Mandeep Singh of Fresno, Calif., remained uninjured. The driver of the second vehicle, Yuniel Maximo Escalona, was declared deceased at the scene by Justice of the Peace Joseph Harris. Escalona was reportedly not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
